Meredith A. Lawrence

Meredith Lawrence is an award-winning writer and photographer. She writes interview-driven stories about the intersection of art and culture. She’s also Web Editor at No Depression, and writer of Western AF’s Western Dispatch. Her work has appeared in Paste, High Country News, No Depression, GRAMMY.com, Texas Monthly, Bandcamp Daily, the Bluegrass Situation, Vox, Brooklyn Mag, Craftsmanship Mag, Alta Journal, and more.

She is a 2019 graduate of the Columbia Journalism School M.A. program, where she specialized in longform and feature reporting. Formerly, she worked as a newspaper reporter, video editor, and producer in Oregon and Washington. She grew up in Oregon and lives in New York.
